What do Cubs get up to?

There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like sailing, climbing, exploring, lighting fires and hiking. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.

Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and visits such as laser zone, county fun days, pantomimes and even the local fire station. You will be able to go away overnight with the rest of your Pack. This could be sleeping in a tent at a scout campsite or something more unusual such as a sleepover at a museum or climbing centre. Take a look at the cub activities in galleries to get a taste of what we’ve been up to recently.

Our cubs pack is made up of 4 sixes. Each six is lead by a sixer and seconder who support the younger cubs and help the leaders to run activities.

The Cub Scout Promise is:

  • I promise that I will do my best
  • To do my duty to God and to the King
  • To help other people
  • And to keep the Cub Scout Law.

The Cub Scout Law is:

  • Cub Scouts always do their best
  • Think of others before themselves
  • And do a good turn every day.

The Cub Scout Motto is:

  • Be Prepared
