Cubs Axe Throwing competition

On Saturday 4th May, 10 cubs from 2nd Calverley took part in a district axe throwing competition. The cubs listened carefully to the safety briefing and then had 9 practice throws before their 9 competition throws. This was the first time most of the cubs had thrown a real axe but the organisers were very impressed! Well done cubs!
