Local author and illustrator, Kate Pankhurst visits Cubs

Bestselling, local author and illustrator, Kate Pankhurst visited Wednesday cubs this week. Kate kicked off the astronomy badge with a space themed draw along. The cubs dressed up as characters from Kate’s latest book ‘We are all astronauts’ and even set off rockets. The cubs were fascinated to hear about Kate’s studio and her life as an author/illustrator. We now have lots of keen cubs ready to create their own books. Maybe they will be a bestselling author one day too!  Many thanks to Kate for visiting us and delivering this inspiring session.
